Teoretická část diplomové práce tvoří poznatkovou bázi problematiky finanční gramotnosti. Nejprve je definován pojem gramotnost, a diskutovány jsou základní souvislosti tohoto pojmu. Dále je provedeno vymezení pojmu finanční gramotnost a vymezení jejích složek. Téma finanční gramotnosti je analyzováno z hlediska zakotvení tohoto pojmu ve vybraných kurikulárních dokumentech platných pro ZŠ. Zaměřujeme se také na klíčových kompetencí, které mohou být při realizaci výuky uvedeného tématu rozvíjeny a diskutována je i vzdělávací oblast Člověk a svět práce z hlediska přínosu k realizaci výuky tématu finanční gramotnosti. V závěru teoretické části práce je diskutována finanční gramotnost jako integrující pojem výuky finanční gramotnost zasahuje do více vzdělávacích oblastí (mj. matematika, informační a komunikační technologie, výchova k občanství). Styčné body nalézáme i ve vzdělávací oblasti Člověk a svět práce. Prezentován je též standard finanční gramotnosti. V aplikační části práce je realizováno výzkumné šetření, zaměřené na zjištění úrovně finanční gramotnosti žáků 8. a 9. tříd vybraných škol regionu Frýdecko-Místecka. Zvolena byla metoda dotazníku. Dále je realizován návrh komplexního didaktického materiálu (přípravy, pracovní listy pro žáky, výukové prezentace) pro realizaci výuky vybraných témat z oblasti finanční gramotnosti.Theoretical part of this thesis deals with the evidence phase of the issue of financial literacy. Firstly is defined the concept of literacy and then the basic context of this term is disscussed. Later a demarcation of the term financial literacy is done together with limiting its components. The topic financial literacy is analyzed from the aspect of fixing this term in selected curricular documents which are valid for the basic schools. We also focus on key competencies that can be developed during the realization of teaching of the given topis. And also an educational part A Man and the World of Work is discussed from the point of view of benefit to realization of teaching to this topic of financial literacy. In the conclusion of the theoretical part of this thesis is discussed the financial literacy as an integrative concept of teaching financial literacy interferes to more educational parts (e. g. mathematics, information and communication technology, civil studies). We find the interfaces even in the educational area A Man and the World of Work. A standard of financial literacy is presented as well. In application part of this thesis is realized a research survey which is focused on finding the level of financial literacy of the pupils from 8th and 9th classes of chosen school from Frýdek Místek region. It was chosen the method of questionnaire. Next a proposal of complex of didactic materials is realized (a preparation, worksheets for pupils, training presentations) for implementation the teaching of chosen topics from the part of financial literacy.
