Tato práce se zabývá rakouskou němčinou a jejími zvláštnostmi a ro-zdíly ve srovnání se standardní němčinou. Teoretická část práce se zabývá historií němčiny v Německu a v Rakousku. Najdeme zde infor-mace o nejznámějších slovnících jak z Rakouska, tak z Německa. Jed-na kapitola se věnuje dialektům a jejich rozdělení v Rakousku. Je zde zmíněn i vliv češtiny na rakouskou němčinu a obráceně. Nakonec jsou zmíněny morfologické rozdíly rakouské němčiny oproti standardní němčině a zvláštnosti ve slovní zásobě. Praktická část se věnuje vyho-dnocení dat z dotazníků. Jsou zde porovnány a vyhodnoceny výsledky studentů ze dvou univerzit.This thesis deals with the Austrian German, its curiosities, and differences in comparison with the Standard German. The theoretical part focuses on the history of German language in Germany and Austria. There is information about the important dictionaries in Germany and Austria. One chapter provides information about dialects and dialects in Austria. There is also mentioned the influence of the Czech language on the Aus-trian German and vice versa. At the end of the theory there are mentio-ned some morphological differences and curiosities in vocabulary. The practical part focuses on the assessment of the data from the question-naires. The results of the students from two different universities had been compared.
