Diplomová práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit míru regionální identity na území správního obvodu obcí s rozšířenou působností Lanškroun, jakožto regionu s přerušenou kontinuitou socio-historického vývoje. První část práce je věnována seznámení se s teoretickými východisky dané problematiky, vymezení studovaného území a shrnutí zdejší historie s důrazem na změny národnostního složení obyvatel. Druhá část práce se zabývá analýzou dat získaných při dotazníkovém šetření, jenž bylo na zájmovém území uskutečněno. Výsledky jednotlivých výzkumných otázek jsou porovnávány nejenom s předem stanovenými předpoklady, ale také s výsledky prací, které se této problematice věnovaly v jiných regionech České republiky. Při dotazníkovém šetření byla rovněž využita metoda mentálních map, pomocí níž bylo studováno prostorové vnímání regionu jeho obyvateli.The aim of this thesis is to assess the extent of the regional identity of the inhabitants in the municipality with extended powers Lanškroun, where the socio-historical continuity of development has been interrupted. The first part of this work is concerning to the theoretical frame of the issue, demarcation of the area under study and a summary of regional history with emphasis on the changes in an ethnic composition of the population. The second part of this work deals with an analysis of the data obtained via questionnaire survey which was conducted in the area under study. The results of the research are compared with predetermined assumption. The results of the analysis also are discussed within the frame of current knowledge. The mental map method has been also used to study geographical perception of the region by its inhabitants.
