The topic of this master thesis is, in a broader context, relation of vegetarianism and eating disorders. Previous researches, focused on the similar issues, found out that among individuals with eating disorders is suspiciously large number of vegetarians. Due to the objectives of research that are: explore motivation for vegetarianism and determine if the motivation for vegetarianism is changing in time and look for the relation between motivation for vegetarianism and eating disorders; we chose the way of quantitative research, whose design is mixed questionnaire survey with correlation studies. For the needs of our research, we compiled a questionnaire distributed through the internet. Data were collected through self-selection and the snowball method. 781 respondents replies consisting of 140 (17,93 %) men and 641 (82,07 %) women with age range 15-68 years (mean = 26,69 years; median = 25 years; SD = 8,80) were processed in descriptive way and analysed with Chi-square and Kruskal-Wallis test.
