Cílem této práce je zaměřit se na téma templářských rytířů ve španělském historickém románu El seňor de Bembibre od autora Enrique Gil y Carrasco. Pokusím se zjistit, jak velkou roli hraje tento templářský element v rámci celého díla, jaký vztah měl autor k této tematice, jak moc se držel historické přesnosti a jak daleko se oddal vlastní představivosti. Pomocí sekundární literatury se pak pokusím na všechny tyto otázky zodpovědět.The main goal of this thesis was to find and analyse the elements of the Templar Order in the spannish historic novel called El se?or de Bembibre, written by Enrique Gil y Carrasco. The investigation was based on establishing three main questions like seek for all the Templar representations in the book, see and compare the historical accuracy and the writer´s own fiction and the last one was to analyse the author´s point of view on the Temple and try to respond if it´s more positive or negative. For the successful way to answer these questions I focused myself on various steps, dividing them in chapters. The first one was about the presentation of a history of Templar knigts in general, plus focusing on a zone of the Iberian Peninsula. In the second step I tried to describe the evolution of a historic novel, mainly the spannish one. The third chapter is dedicated to the life of an autor and a short resumé of the work El se?or de Bembibre. In the fourth chapter I finally start my analytic part of the work specializing on the Templar elements in the book, categorizing and evaluating them.
