Předmětem zkoumání mé bakalářské práce jsou národní nizozemská plemena psů a jejich rozšíření a využití ve sportu nejen v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na dvě pomyslné hlavní části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se zabývám krátkou charakteristikou vybraných zvířecích sportů u koní a psů, velká kapitola je věnovaná agility, kde jsem se pokusila o srovnání nejen úrovně tohoto sportu v České republice a Nizozemsku, ale vypátrala jsem také a porovnala výsledky závodníků reprezentujících tyto státy na Mistrovství světa, které je nejdůležitějším agility závodem. V praktické části prezentuji výsledky svého krátkého dotazníku, který byl zaměřen právě na nizozemská plemena psů a jejich využití ve sportu. Cílem této práce je podat informace o výskytu, popularitě a sportovním využití málopočetných a ve světě téměř neznámých nizozemských plemen, která se v zemi svého původu těší velké oblibě.This bachelor's thesis primarily concerns the sport of dog agility, Dutch dog breeds and their use in society. I wanted to give a short overview of the sports for which animals are most commonly used, the characteristics of agility and also of lesser-known Dutch breeds which are popular companions in their country of origin, while outside of the Netherlands are very uncommon. This thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter presents a brief coverage of animal sports, namely horse and dog sport en the practical use of these animals in the modern society is also discussed. The second chapter is devoted dog agility, which in recent years has become very popular in the field of cynology and very quickly became one of the most popular dog sports worldwide. I compare the rules and procedures of competition events in the Czech republic and the Netherlands, briefly mentioning the top agility competitions, and highlight the results of national competitions in both countries. Finally, I focus on the above mentioned Dutch breeds and their success at the world championships. The third chapter is devoted to the Dutch breeds of dogs that are almost unknown outside of their homeland. In the last chapter, I summarize the results of my survey on the topic of Dutch dog breeds and their use in sport.
