Tato práce se zaměřuje na ruskou zahraniční politiku vůči Pobaltským státům (Litvy, Lotyšska a Estonska), v období od jejich znovu obnovení nezávislosti na počátku 90. let po současnost z pohledu uplatňování pilíře hard a soft power. Cílem práce je popsat a analyzovat jak ruský model zahraniční politiky z hlediska soft a hard power ovlivňuje diplomacii, obchodní styky a energetickou politiku mezi Ruskou federací a Pobaltskými státy. Autor práce si klade tyto výzkumné otázky. Jaké jsou hlavní pilíře ruské zahraniční politiky? Jak se projevuje soft power a hard power v ruské zahraniční politice? Jak ruská zahraniční politika ovlivňuje vztahy mezi Ruskou federací a Pobaltím? Jak se proměňuje ruská zahraniční politika vůči Pobaltí? Práce se zaměřuje na zmapování vývoje vztahu mezi Ruskou federací a Pobaltskými státy z hlediska zahraniční politiky těchto subjektů energetické, bezpečností a kulturní spolupráce.This thesis looks at the russian foreign policy towards the Baltics states (Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia), in the period from their reestablishment of independence in the early 90s to present day, using the perspective of hard and soft power policies. The purpose of this thesis is to describe and analyze how the Russian model of foreign policy, in the perspective of soft and hard power, influences diplomacy, commerce, international trade and energy policies between Russian federation and Baltics states. Author poses these research questions. What are the main pillars of Russian foreign policies? How do soft and hard power influence Russian foreign policies? How do Russian foreign policies influence the relationships between Russian federation and Baltic states? How do the Russian policies toward the Baltic states change? The thesis focuses on mapping the development of the relationships between Russian federation and Baltics states in the perspective of foreign policies of these subjects and on their energy, national security and cultural cooperation.
