Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá reflexí současného euroskepticismu britské Konzervativní strany, přičemž hlavní důraz autorka klade na současnou podobu euroskepticismu vyjadřovanou vládou Davida Camerona. Cílem práce je analyzovat proměnu postoje a hlavní zdroje politiky prováděné Konzervativní stranou ve vztahu k evropské integraci. Záměrem práce je zjistit, jaké jsou zdroje evropské politiky a euroskeptických přístupů D. Camerona - zda je jeho politika vůči EU založená na ucelené strategii, která navazuje na politiku Konzervativní strany k evropskému projektu, či se jedná o jeho vlastní pojetí evropské politiky, nebo pouze o reaktivní přístup související se situací v Konzervativní straně, domácí politice nebo na evropské politické scéně. Sekundárním cílem práce je ukotvení současného postoje Konzervativní strany na základě typologie euroskepticismu od autorů Alekse Szczerbiaka a Paula Taggarta. Práce se opírá o deskriptivně-analytickou metodu doplněnou o parciální srovnání. V poslední části je využita typologie A. Szczerbiaka a P. Taggarta pro znázornění, zda došlo k proměně euroskepticismu uvnitř Konzervativní strany. Celá práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá samotným pojmem euroskepticismus a britskými specifiky ve vztahu ke kontinentální Evropě. Druhá kapitola pak popisuje vývoj názorů uvnitř Konzervativní strany v otázce evropské integrace až po rok 2005 a pro ilustraci proměny postojů je rozdělena do čtyř časových období. Poslední kapitola analyzuje evropskou politiku britského ministerského předsedy D. Camerona s cílem zjistit, z čeho vychází a případně, na co navazuje politika premiéra vůči Evropě.This bachelor thesis deals with reflection of current euroscepticism of the British Conservative Party, while author´s main emphasis is focused on the current form of euroscepticism represented by the government of David Cameron. The goal of this thesis is to analyse the change of attitude and main sources of the policy implemented by Conservative Party in relation to the European integration. The intention of thesis is to find out what are the sources of the European policy and eurosceptic attitudes of D. Cameron wheter his policy towards the EU is based on a coherent strategy, which follows the policy of Conservative Party to European project, or if it is his own conception of European policy, or if it is only a reactive approach related to the situation in Conservative Party, on the domestic political level or on the European political level. The secondary objective of this thesis is to anchor the current attitude of the Conservative Party under the typology of euroscepticism from Aleks Szczerbiak and Paul Taggart. The work is based on descriptive and analytic method accompanied by a partial comparison. In the last part, there is used the typology from A. Szczerbiak and P. Taggart to show wheter there has been a change of euroscepticism within the Conservative party. The whole thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of euroscepticism and with British specifics in relation with continental Europe. The second chapter describes the development of opinions within the Conservative Party on the issue of European integration until 2005 and for ilustrating the change of attitudes it is divided into four periods. The last chapter analyses the European policy of British Prime Minister D. Cameron with aim to find out, what the policy of Prime Minister towards Europe is based on and what it follows.
