Bakalářská práce pojednává o obchodních vztazích dvou nejvýznamnějších ekonomických center, Spojených států amerických a Evropské unie, v době ekonomické krize. Cílem práce je analyzovat vývoj forem mezinárodního obchodu mezi EU a USA od propuknutí světové krize a následně analyzovat probíhající jednání o užší obchodní spolupráci (TTIP) mezi oběma aktéry s důrazem na potenciální přínosy a překážky snižující pravděpodobnost uzavření smlouvy. Práce je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. V první kapitole je představen průběh ekonomické krize a její dopady na obchodní vztahy mezi USA a EU. V rámci této kapitoly byla provedena analýza exportu a importu zboží, obchodu se službami a toku přímých zahraničních investic v letech 2007 až 2012. Ve druhé kapitole byl popsán projekt Transatlantického obchodního a investičního partnerství. Součástí kapitoly byla analýza potenciálních přínosů vyplývajících z TTIP a překážek, které mohou zpomalit proces vyjednávání či snížit pravděpodobnost přijmout smlouvy TTIP.The thesis deals with trade relations of the two most important economic centers, The United States of America and the European Union, in the time of economic crisis. The aim is to analyze the development of the forms of international trade between the EU and the US since the beginnig of the global crisis and then analyze the ongoing negotiations on closer trade cooperation (TTIP) between the two actors, with an emphasis on the potential benefits and barriers to reducing the likelihood of concluding the contract. The work is divided into two chapters. The first chapter describes economic crisis and its impact on trade relations between the US and the EU. In this chapter is included an analysis of export and import of goods, trade in services and foreign direct investment flows between 2007 and 2012. In the second chapter is described the project Transatlantic trade and investment partnerships. In this chapter is included an analysis of the potential benefits arising from TTIP and obstacles that can slow down the negotiation process and reduce the chances of approval TTIP contract.
