Bakalářská práce analyzuje vývoj historie biatlonu jak u nás tak v zahraničí. Cílem práce je vytvořit podrobný chronologický náhled na biatlon od počátku až po současnost. Charakterizuje biatlon jako soutěžní disciplínu, včetně soutěžního řádu, pravidel, reprezentace, sportovních oddílů, bezpečnosti a materiálového vybavení. Práce rozebírá postupnou oblibu a nárůst sportovců v tomto sportovním odvětví s odkazem na pořádání mistrovství světa a světových pohárů v Novém Městě na Moravě. Výsledkem práce je vytvoření stručného shrnutí aktuální situace a rozmachu.The thesis analyzes the history of biathlon in the Czech Republic and abroad. The aim of this thesis is to create a detailed chronological view of biathlon from the beginning to the present. Biathlon is characterized as a competition discipline, including competition rules, representation, sports groups, safety rules and material equipment. The paper analyzes the gradual increase in popularity and also the increase in number of athletes in the sport sector. The World Championship and the World Cup in Nove Mesto na Morave is also described. The result is the creation of a concise summary of the current situation and expansion of the biathlon discipline.
