Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá použitím saského genitivu a of-genitivu u neživotných podstatných jmen v angličtině. Představuje faktory, které mohou ovlivnit volbu druhu genitivu a na skupině podstatných jmen tvořených z dopravních prostředků zkoumá vybrané faktory za pomocí dat z korpusů.The purpose of this thesis is to compare the usage of Saxon genitive and the of-genitive with inanimate nouns in English. It introduces factors which can influence the choice between the two genitives and it examines the applicability of some of the factors using corpus data on a set of nouns comprized of means of transport.
