Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozborem římské rodiny v jednotlivých typech římské literatury ve zvoleném časovém období 1. a 2. st. n. l. Jedná se o období vzestupu a slávy římského císařství, o dobu, ve které došlo ke zlepšení životních podmínek římského obyvatelstva, ale také úpadku římské rodiny. Tato práce se skládá ze sedmy kapitol, které se zabývají otázkou římské rodiny a jejích vztahů. Práce vychází z dobových pramenů římské literatury, každá kapitola tedy reprezentuje jeden literární žánr drama, osobní korespondenci, rétoriku, naukovou literaturu, historiografii, filosofii a satiru.This thesis deals with the analysis of the Roman family in various types of Roman literature in a chosen time period of the 1st and 2nd century AD. It is the period of the rise and glory of the Roman Empire, the period in which the living standards of the Roman population were improved, but there was also the decline of family life. This work consists of seven chapters that analyses the question of the Roman family and its relationships. This thesis is based on historical sources of Roman literature; each of the chapter presents one literary genre drama, personal correspondence, rhetoric, instructive literature, history, philosophy and satire.
