Bakalářská práce se zabývá vymezováním center aktivit v krajských městech České republiky a vybraných zahraničních městech Košice, Katowice, Leipzig a Székesfehérvár. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vývoj metod, které byly použity při pokusech vymezit městské centrum a jiné městské části. V této části jsou také popsány rozdíly mezi jednotlivými vymezeními a jejich případná vhodnost či nevhodnost pro další použití v této práci. V praktické části je provedeno vymezení center aktivit podle hustoty rozmístění služeb, hustoty komunikací a hustoty zastavěnosti v uvedených městech. Výsledné ohraničené plochy jsou použity pro tvorbu map, na kterých je zobrazeno centrum aktivit v porovnání s již užívaným vymezením středu města. V závěru je uvedeno srovnání ploch, které vznikly vymezením jednotlivými metodami. Jako nejlepší metoda zde vychází ta, která pracuje s hustotou služeb.The bachelor thesis pursues the delimitation of centres of activities in regional cities in the Czech Republic and in the chosen foreign cities Košice, Katowice, Leipzig and Szekesfehervár. The theoretical part is focused on the development of methods used to delimit Central Business District and other parts of a city. In addition, the differences between individual delimitations and also their possible applications in this thesis are described in this part. In the practical part the delimitation of centres of activities according to the distributions density of services, density of communications and density of built areas in the mentioned cities is performed. The final delimited polygons are used for creating maps, in which the centres of activities in comparison with existing delimitation of Central Business District. In the conclusion the comparison of polygons created by delimiting by individual methods is stated. The results showed the best option as the method working with the density of services.
