Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rolí regionálních integrací při řešení konfliktů. Práce charakterizuje vztah Organizace spojených národů, jako garanta mezinárodního míru a stability, k regionálním integracím angažujícím se v procesu řízení a řešení konfliktů. Dále se zaměřuje na tři konkrétní regionální integrace Africkou unii, Evropskou unii a Sdružení národů jihovýchodní Asie. Věnuje se vzniku a vývoji jejich bezpečnostních a mírových politik a strategií, popisuje soustavu orgánů a institucí do jejichž pravomoci tyto politiky a strategie náleží, charakterizuje jejich vzájemné vztahy a přikládá konkrétní příklady realizovaných operací.This diploma thesis deals with the role of regional integrations in the process of conflict resolution. The thesis characterizes the relation of the United Nations, as a guarantee of international peace and stability, and regional integrations engaged in the process of conflict management and resolution. The thesis is further focused on free specific regional integrations the African Union, the European Union andthe Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Deals with the origin and development of their security and peace policies and strategies, describes its systems of institutions within whose jurisdiction these policies and strategies belong, characterizes its mutual relationships and describes some specific examples of implemented operations.
