Předmětem práce je problematika podpory Evropské unie regionu soudržnosti Střední Morava v oblasti celoživotního vzdělávání. Práce je členěna na část teoretickou a praktickou. V první části jsou popsána teoretická východiska pro zkoumání regionálního rozvoje a problematiky celoživotního učení. Analýza je provedena z úrovně evropské, národní a regionální. Hlavní část práce představuje vlastní výzkum. Ten se soustřeďuje na studium strategických dokumentů věnujících se této problematice. Analyzuje, zda jsou cíle ze strategií Evropské unie shodné s prioritami národních dokumentů a dokumentů regionu soudržnosti Střední Morava. Dále je analyzována finanční podpora Evropské unie v oblasti vzdělávání a celoživotního vzdělávání. Jsou zde identifikovány fondy Evropské unie a hlavně operační programy podporující tuto oblast a vyčísleno čerpání finančních prostředků k aktuálnímu datu. Na případových studiích tří firem z regionu je prakticky ukázáno, jak tato pomoc probíhá a jaké jsou konkrétní dopady včetně názorů a hodnocení příjemců podpory.This research paper is about the issue of the support of the European Union in the cohesion region Střední Morava in the area of lifelong learning. The work is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The first part describes the theoretical approaches towards regional development and lifelong learning. The analysis is made from the European, national and regional level. The main part of the thesis is the own research. This research focuses on studying the strategic documents about this issue. It analyses if the objectives from the strategies of the European Union are in line with the priorities of the national documents and the documents of the cohesion region Střední Morava. Further on the financial support of the European Union in the area of learning and lifelong learning is being analysed. The funds of the European Union are being identified here and mainly the operational programmes supporting this area and the drawing of the financial means to an up-to-date day is being expressed in numbers. It is shown on the case studies of three companies from the region how this help is being processed and what are the concrete impacts including the opinions and evaluations made by the recipients of the support.
