Tato bakalářské práce si klade za cíl referovat o úloze korzetoterapie v léčbě idiopatické skoliózy. Dále objasňuje principy působení korzetu a shrnuje případy, kdy je pacientům indikován. Kromě toho tato práce hodnotí negativa a pozitiva aplikace korzetů a zamýšlí se nad tím, proč je i přes velké množství publikovaných studií a výzkumů stále tak diskutovaným tématem.The aim of this thesis is to present the role of bracing in the treatment of idiopathic scoliosis. Furthermore, the work clarifies the principles of effects of the brace and summarizes the cases when the brace is indicated to the patients. Moreover, the thesis assesses the negative and positive sides of brace application and considers the reason why, despite the huge amount of published studies and researches, it is still such a discussed topic.
