Umění, výtvarné nevyjímaje, v sobě skrývá ohromnou sílu. Tato síla má možnost ovlivňovat charakter člověka. Což nezůstalo bez povšimnutí velkých filosofů starověku v čele s Platónem a nezůstává bez povšimnutí dodnes. Současní výtvarní pedagogové také využívají těchto možností. I vztah umění a náboženství má velkou tradici, jak dosvědčují chrámy a jejich výzdoba po celém světě. Tohoto vztahu a této síly umění je možno využít ve výuce a především výchově dětí základních a středních škol, a obohatit tak mezipředmětové propojení o pozoruhodnou oblast. Přirozeným jevištěm pro metafyzickou výchovu pak mohou být galerie a muzea výtvarného umění, kde nenahraditelný kontakt s originálním dílem a jeho vhodná interpretace bude živou vodou pro rozvoj pozapomenutých hloubek lidské bytosti. Na skupinách dětí ze základních a středních škol, které budou absolvovat speciálně vytvořený program v galerii výtvarného umění, bude studován průběh vývoje zkoumaných složek osobnosti, jeho případné fáze, proměny a možnosti. Při tomto procesu bude použito metod smíšeného výzkumu (řízený rozhovor, dotazník). Rád bych tím podpořil myšlenku, že výtvarná díla a výtvarné tvoření mohou jedinečným způsobem přispívat k rozvoji náboženských stránek lidské osobnosti.The art, including the visual arts, holds a great power. This power has the ability to influenc the man's character. This fact did not remain unnoticed by the great philosophers, starting with Plato, and it plays the significant role to this day. The contemporary art educators take advantage of this capability as well. The relationship between art and religion has a long tradition, as witnessed by the temples and its art decorations all over the world. We can take advantage of this relationship and this power of art in the education, particularly in the education of children in elementary and secondary schools, and thus enrich the interconnection of subjects with such an extraordinary area. The natural stage for the metaphysical education could be the galleries and art museums where the irreplaceable contact with the original artwork and its appropriate interpretation can serve as water of life for the development of the forgotten depths of the human being. I will study the development of the particular components of the personality, its eventual phases, changes and possibilities on the groups of children from primary and secondary schools who will participate in this programme in the art gallery. During this study, I will use the methods of the qualitative research (controlled interview, questionnaire). I would like to confirm that the works of art and art creation can immensely contribute to the development of the spiritual side of the human personality.
