V oblasti pobytových sociálních služeb pro osoby s mentálním postižením se setkáváme s více než aktuálním pojmem, jímž je transformace a současně deinstitucionalizace. Transformace sociálních pobytových služeb je dlouhodobý proces přeměny institucionálních zařízení s cílem integrace, popř. inkluze osob s postižením do společnosti prostřednictvím modelu komunitních služeb, který by měl vést k větší nezávislosti a celkově k vyšší kvalitě života uživatelů. Prostřednictvím analýzy recipročního vztahu zaměstnance a uživatele v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a v chráněných bydleních jsme zkoumali faktory ovlivňující zaměstnance a také míru působení těchto vlivů, jež se odrážejí nejen v samotné práci, ale především ve vztazích k uživatelům. Pro uvedenou problematiku jsme zvolili kombinaci výzkumných metod a to jak kvantitativní, tak kvalitativní. Metodu dotazníku jsme využili u uživatelů i zaměstnanců pobytových služeb, neboť jsme zkoumali míru těsnosti vztahů a celkovou spokojenost. Polostrukturované interview bylo zpracováno prostřednictvím kvalitativní metody obsahové analýzy. Podrobnou analýzou vlivů působících na respondenty jsme došli k deskripci vztahů zaměstnance a uživatele. Z těchto závěrů jsme vycházeli při vytváření doporučeních pro praxi v kontextu zefektivnění transformace.In the area of residential social services for people with learning disabilities, we are dealing with not simply the existing practice but the long term future but also the area of transformation and deinstitutionalization. The project of the transformation of residential social services is a long process which involves a great deal of planning and communication withininstitutions, with the aim being the successful integration and inclusion of people with disabilities into society through implementing the model of community services, which should promote the independence and equality of the individual, which in turn should result in the improved quality of life of those individuals. Through the analysis of the reciprocal relationship between employees and users in institutional care and sheltered housing, we examined the factors influencing employees and the degree of action of these impacts that are reflected not only in the work itself, but also in workplace relations, especially in relation to those people receiving support. The combination of research methods that have been cutilised for this project are both quantitative and qualitative, due to the research issue being very specific. The format of a questionnaire was used to provide feedback from both the clients and staff of residential services. The questionnaire itself was focused on the degree of strength in relationships between those clients and their staff. In addition to this Semi-structured interviews were conducted through qualitative content analysis. Throught the feedback and results of investgation into the relationships between clients and staff members we were able to draw conclusion that provided opportunity for recommendations in the change in practice in relation to transformation from institutional care to that of community care.
