Práce se zabývá postavou kněží v německo-moravské a německo-české literatuře přelomu 19. a 20. století u auorů Marie von Ebner Eschenbach, Ferdinand von Saar, Jakob Julius David, Eduard Kulke, Willibald Müller, Hans Watzlik und Anton Ohorn. Práce plynule navazuje na bakalářskou práci s názvem Srovnání postavy faráře v moravsko-německé literatuře.The object of this thesis is to make a comprehensive list of literature pieces of work originated in Moravia and Bohemia areas and where a character of a priest features. The list consists of thirteen (books and their) authors, who wrote between 1830 and 1914. Three of them are Czech-German and five of them are Moravian-German. There follows an analysis of these books in terms of the importance of priest as one of the characters.
