Student bude v bakalářské práci analyzovat narativní strukturu filmu Velká nádhera (La grande bellezza, 2013) italského režiséra Paola Sorrentina. Jako metodologické východisko poslouží teorie neoformalismu, jak jí popsala Kristin Thompson v textu Neoformalistická filmová analýza: jeden přístup, mnoho metod. Student se zaměří především na proces konstrukce narativu a analýzu vztahů mezi formálním a stylistickým systémem filmu Velká nádhera. Dále bude student vycházet z knihy Umění filmu: Úvod do studia formy a stylu od David Bordwella a Kristin Thompson a rovněž ze základního spisu filmové naratologie Narration in the Fiction Film, jehož autorem je David Bordwell.The student is going to analyse the narrative structure of the film The Great Beauty (La grande bellezza, 2013), which was made by an Italian director Paolo Sorrentino. The Kristin Thompson's text Neoformalist Film Analysis: One Approach, Many Methods, which describes the theory of neorealism, will be used as the methodological approach. The student is going to analyse especially the process of construction of narrative and the relationships between formal and stylistic system of the film The Great Beauty. For this analysis the book Film Art: An Introduction by David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson is going to be used as a theoretical basis among with one of the main concept of narration, which was define by David Bordwell in Narration in the Fiction Film.
