Tato práce studuje způsob vyprávění o diktatuře v díle Podzim patriarchy od Gabriela Garcíi Márqueze. První část je věnována konceptům politiky, politična, moci a násilí. Dále také stručně popisuje vývoj románu o diktatuře a románu o diktátorovi v hispánské Americe. Druhá část obsahuje rozbor narativních postupů ve studovaném díle a jejich role při přenesení dané tématiky.This thesis examines the way of telling about a dictatorship in the work The autumn of the Patriarch by Gabriel García Márquez. The first part deals with the concepts of politics, of the political, of power and violence. Further it also briefly describes the development of a novel about dictatorship and a novel about a dictator in Hispanic America. The second part contains an analysis of narrative methods in the studied novel and their roles in the transfer of the given topic.
