Cieľom tejto bakalárskej diplomovej práce je podať komplexný obraz réunionskej jazykovej situácie, preskúmať réunionskú francúzštinu a zistiť rozdiely medzi ňou a metropolitnou francúzštinou. Táto práca sa sústredí najskôr na geografiu ostrova, jeho klíma, faunu a flóru. Potom podáva údaje o demografii a následne prechádza na dejiny ostrova už od jeho objavu. Ďalšia časť práce pojednáva o réunionskej jazykovej situácii a skúma zvláštnosti réunionskej francúzštiny, ktorú následne porovnáva s metropolitnou francúzštinou.The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to give complex image of the Réunion's linguistic situation, to explore the Réunionese French and to identify its differences in comparison with the Metropolitan French. The first part of the thesis focuses on the geography of the island, its climate and its flora and fauna. It also gives the demographic data and the history of the island since it has been discovered. Another part deals with Réunion's language situation and studies the uniqueness of Réunion's French, which is afterwards compared with the Metropolitan French.
