Bakalářské práce se zabývá buddhismem v Rusku. Hlavním cílem práce je popsat postavení buddhismu v Rusku - přes historický kontext formování specifického vztahu státu k tomuto náboženství až po současnou situaci. První část práce objasňuje buddhistické učení. Druhá část je věnována zakořenění, rozšiřování buddhismu mezi Burjaty, Kalmyky, Tuvinci. Záměrem této části je poukázat na tradiční praktikování buddhismu v třech ruských "buddhistických republikách". Dále se poukazuje na snahy komunistického režimu vyhubit toto náboženství. V poslední části práce je sledován rozvoj buddhismu v postsovětském období a pojednává také o duchovním vůdci ruských buddhistů Dalajlámovi XIV., jemuž je znemožněn vstup do Ruska a o rusko-tibetských vztazích.This thesis deals with the Buddhist religion in Russia. Its primary concern is to describe the position of Buddhism in the country - from the historical context of building the distinct relationship to the religion to its contemporary status. The first part of the thesis is concerned with clarification of the Buddhist teachings. The second part is dedicated to the processes of rooting and spreading of Buddhism among the Buryats, Kalmyks and Tuvans. The main purpose of the second part of the thesis is to highlight the traditional Buddhist practices in three Russian "Buddhist Republics." It also refers to the attempts of the communist regime to eradicate this religion. Finally, in the last part of the work, the development of Buddhism in post-soviet period is discussed. Furthermore, this part is concerned with a spiritual leader of the Russian Buddhists, 14th Dalai Lama, who is prohibited from entering the country, and also with Russian-Tibetan relations.
