Předkládaná bakalářská práce je kvalitativním výzkumem, která se zabývá problematikou aktivizace klientů v zařízeních pro seniory a seniory s demencí.teoretické části práce jsou popsány základní informace týkající se stáří a stárnutí, demence, biografie člověka a aktivizace seniorů na základě biografie. Další část je zaměřena na metodologii výzkumu. Zde je uvedena výzkumná otázka, technika sběru dat, charakteristika respondentů a interpretace dat. Poslední část je věnována interpretaci výsledků výzkumu.This bachelor thesis is a qualitative research which deals with the topic of activation of clients in institutions for retired people with a dementia. The teoretical part describes basic information related to ageing, dementia, person´s biography and activation of a person through his or her biography. The next part is focused on the research methodology. The research question is stated here, together with the technique, the respondents´ characteristics and the data interpretation. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the interpretation of research results.
