Tato diplomová práce se zabývá obrazem vody v poezii od konce druhé světové války po současnost. Autorka práce analyzuje vybrané básně ţánrů tanka, haiku a volného verše japonských autorů tohoto období obsahující téma vody a z rozboru se pokouší vyvodit výsledky odpovídající na otázky vývoje japonské poezie a jejích současných inspiračních zdrojů. Zároveň hledá moţné společné body s ostatními kulturami, především kulturou českou. Výsledkem práce by mělo být zjištění, zda voda můţe být tématem natolik univerzálním, aby japonská poezie srozumitelně promlouvala nejen k Japoncům, ale také příslušníkům jiných kultur a národů.The title of this thesis is The Image of Water in the Japanese Poetry. The author has concentrated on the period from the end of the Second World War until the present day. The author has chosen the poems of the various poets, focusing on the theme of water. At the beginning thesis the questions were defined, such as: what is the course of the contemporary poetry, what does it tell to the reader about the nowadays Japanese society, if in the poetry can be found some similar or dissimilar points between the Japanese and some other culture, especially the Czech one, and if the poetry can become an universal language, which can talk to Japanese as well as the reader of another culture. Through the analysis of the poems the author has tried to answer these questions and the results has summarized in the conclusion of this thesis.
