Tato vědecká práce se zabývá historickými a politickými aspekty vlámského nacionalismu v Belgickém království. Práce se pokouší nastínit a vysvětlit, co v průběhu historie k nacionalistickým tendencím holandsky mluvících Belgičanů vedlo a jak se vztah dvou hlavních belgických komunit (Vlámů a Valonů) postupně utvářel. Dále se v práci zaměřím na radikální vlámskou nacionalistickou stranu Vlámský zájem (VBe), její vývoj a volební program se zvláštním zaměřením na její vztah k zahraničním přistěhovalcům. Cílem měření pak bude zjistit, které oblasti se dají považovat za území stabilní volební podpory strany VBe a zda se počet hlasů obdržených ve volbách touto stranou, která klade největší důraz ve svém programu na téma omezení imigrace, s rostoucím počtem přistěhovalců v daných obvodech zvyšuje. V jednotlivých kapitolách se tedy budu postupně zabývat historií Belgie od jejího vzniku a vývojem vztahů mezi Vlámy a Valony, posléze popisem a představením politické strany Vlámský zájem a nakonec měřením, jaká je korelace mezi jejími volebními výsledky a počtem imigrantů v daných obvodech.This research work deals with the historical and political aspects of Flemish nationalism in Belgium. This work attempts to outline and explain what in the history led to the nationalist tendencies of Dutch-speaking Belgians and how the relationship of the two main Belgian communities ( Flemish and Walloons ) gradually shaped. Later, the work will focus on the radical Flemish nationalist party Vlaams belang (VBe) and its development and electoral program, with special emphasis on its opinion on foreign immigrants. The aim of the measurements is to determine whether the number of VBe's votes increases with the increasing number of immigrants. Firstly, I will be dealing with the history of Belgium since its establishment and with development of relations between the Flemings and the Walloons, then the description and presentation of political party Vlaams Belang will follow. In the last part of this thesis, firstly I will examine which areas can be considered as the areas with stable electoral support for the party VBe and secondly, I will examine the correlation between its electoral results and the number of immigrants in the regions.
