Práce se zabývá časovou perspektivou a volbou povolání v období adolescence. Výchozími teoretickými koncepcemi byla Zimbardova koncepce časové perspektivy a teorie Self-Directed Search (SDS) Johna Hollanda. Výzkumný problém tvořilo určení, zda se určitá časová perspektiva vyskytuje signifikantně častěji s určitým typem činností. Cílem práce bylo také prozkoumat vztah pohlaví a typu činností. Dotazníkové šetření bylo provedeno na vzorku 168 adolescentů ve věku 15 až 19 let získaném příležitostným a záměrným výběrem, a to pomocí Zimbardova dotazníku časové perspektivy (ZTPI) a Dotazníku volby povolání a plánování profesní kariéry (DVP, podle SDS). Jednotlivé hypotézy pro minulost a vychovávající a pečující typ činností, přítomnost a řemeslně-technický typ činností a budoucnost a umělecko-tvořivý typ činností byly zamítnuty Kruskal-Wallisovým testem. Hypotéza o souvislosti pohlaví a typu činností ovšem byla přijata testem chí-kvadrát.The thesis deals with time perspective and career choice during adolescence. Starting sources for theoretical conceptions are Zimbardo's conception of time perspective and the Self-Directed Search (SDS) by John Holland. Research problem is to determine if certain time perspective occurs significantly more often with related career type. Another point of the thesis is to investigate relationship of gender and career type. Questionnaire research was carried out on a sample of 168 adolescents between the age of 15 to 19 which was obtained by opportunity and intentional sampling, using Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI) and DVP (inventory according to SDS). Individual hypotheses for the past and Social type, the present and Realistic type and the future and Artistic type have been rejected by Kruskal-Wallis test. However, the hypothesis about relationship of gender and career type has been accepted by chi-square test.
