V této práci se zabývám typologií postav, a to především srovnáním postav Vinárny U Pavouka s postavami ve hrách Divadla Járy Cimrmama. V teorii vymezuji definici postavy literární a dramatické, zabývám se pojetím postav z hlediska různých pohledů: strukturalismu, formalismu, pojetí postavy dle Seymoura Chatmana, Daniely Hodrové a Bohumila Fořta a teorie fikčních světů. Dále stanovuji základní kategorie pro práci s postavami. V praktické části dělím vybrané postavy do tří kategorií podle vztahu postav k reálnému světu a vzniku Vinárny U Pavouka. Tyto postavy analyzuji podle v teorii stanovených kategorií. Tím vytvářím prototypy postav pro srovnání s postavami v Divadle Járy Cimrmana. Samostatnou kapitolu věnuji postavě Járy Cimrmana jejímu vzniku a vývoji ve Vinárně U Pavouka. Již zde je zřejmé, že Cimrman představuje ojedinělý konstrukt. V další kapitole si ověřuji, zda se koncepce Vinárny U Pavouka projevuje v seminářích Divadla Járy Cimrmana, a poté se věnuji postavám v samotných hrách po seminářích následujících. Tyto postavy srovnávám s prototypy postav z Vinárny U Pavouka. Jako poslední postavě se věnuji opět Cimrmanovi, především jeho funkci v Divadle Járy Cimrmana. Zjišťuji, že se jedná více než o postavu, o konstrukt zastřešující hry a semináře Divadla Járy Cimrmana a vlastně i tvorbu obou autorů.In this thesis, I shall examine principal types of characters; in particular, I will compare a number of characters from Vinárna U Pavouka with those from theatre plays from Divadlo Járy Cimrmana. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of literary and dramatic characters. Additionally, I shall explore manifold facets of the subject from different perspectives: structuralism, formalism. In a similar vein, I will apply a myriad of literary theories: the theory of Seymour Chatman, Daniela Hodrová and Bohumil Fořt as well as the fictional worlds theory. Finally, I am going to outline the salient categories of characters. In the second part, I shall divide the characters chosen into three categories based on their relation to the real world and the fictional world of Vinárna U Pavouka. Using the information outlined in part one, I shall be able to study these characters and categorise them. As a consequence of that, I will develop their prototypes, which will later be set off against other characters from theatre plays in Divadlo Járy Cimrmana. Further on, I will thoroughly examine the character of Jára Cimrman. Not only will I reflect on its development in Vinárna U Pavouka, but I will also show up how unique this character is in terms of its construction. Furthermore, I will verify whether the concept found in Vinárna U Pavkouka is present in any of the seminars of Divadlo Járy Cimrmana. Later, I shall consider a range of characters from theatre plays that take place after the seminars. Moreover, I will contrast these characters with the prototypes of the characters from Vinárna U Pavouka. Lastly, I shall examine the character of Jára Cimrman once again. This time, however, I will focus on its function in Divadlo Járy Cirmana. I will systematically prove that Jára Cirman is more than a mere character, but an essential tool connecting the theatre plays and the seminars of Divadlo Járy Cimrmana, thus the work of the both authors.
