Tato diplomová práce pojednává o třídění odpadu v Praze a Amsterdamu v porovnání. Cílem této práce je získat ucelený přehled možností třídění odpadu, které mají občané v Amsterdamu a v Praze. Součástí práce je také vyhodnocení dotazníku, který se týkal této problematiky. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. První kapitola je krátká charakteristika jednotlivých měst a států, ve kterých se města nachází. Jde o shrnutí současné situace. V druhé kapitole jsou shrnuty pojmy týkající se třídění odpadu. Dále kapitola pojednává o počátku třídění odpadu v jednotlivých zemích. Definuje, podle kterých zákonů se třídění odpadů řídí a jak se s odpadem dále nakládá. Ve třetí kapitole je přehled veškerých surovin, které mají obyvatele Prahy a Amsterdamu možnost třídit. Je zde přehled všech dostupných kontejnerů na tříděný odpad, a kdo se o odpad dále stará. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována jednotlivým organizacím, které se starají o osvětu obyvatel, co se týče třídění odpadu. Poslední kapitolou je zpracování dotazníku, kde jsem dotazovala obyvatele Prahy a Amsterdamu, ohledně jejich postoje k třídění odpadu, a zhodnocení současné situace a možností třídit v okolí jejich bydliště.This thesis deals with the waste sorting in Prague and Amsterdam in comparison. The aim of this work is to get a comprehensive overview of waste sorting options of citizens in Amsterdam and Prague. The work also includes the evaluation of the questionnaire about waste sorting. The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a brief description of the individual cities and states in which the city is located. This is a summary of the current situation. The second chapter summarizes the definitions related to waste sorting. This chapter discusses the beginning of waste sorting in each country. Further defines de laws associated with the waste and how is waste further treated. The third chapter is an overview of all materials that the residents of Prague and Amsterdam are able to sort. There is an overview of all available containers for recycling and the organisations who further works with the waste. The fourth chapter is devoted to individual organizations which care about awareness of the population regarding the waste sorting and recycling. The last chapter is the evaluation of the questionair, where I have interviewed the citizens of Prague and Amsterdam about their attitudes towards waste sorting, their opinion about the current situation and waste sorting opportunities in the area of their residence.
