Práce zkoumá vývoj Svobodomyslné strany Rakouska v letech 20052015. Tato strana není jednoznačně definována, vedou se spory, zda se jedná o stranu nacionálně liberální či radikálně pravicovou populistickou stranu. Předmětem výzkumu je právě ideologický základ strany a jeho vývoj pod vedením Heinze Christiana Stracheho v komparaci s Jörgem Haiderem. Práce objasňuje silnou pozici strany v systému a volební úspěch z roku 2013, kdy strana dosáhla více než 20 % hlasů. Práce se zabývá kvalitativní analýzou vývoje programu strany, volebních strategií a chování strany v rakouském a evropském politickém systému. Problematika je řešena s ohledem na vnitrostranický vývoj strany, nereflektuje vnější faktory jako vývoj stranického systému Rakouska. Práce v závěru analyzuje ideologický vývoj strany, definuje faktory jejích kontinuálních volebních úspěchů. Na tomto základu pak definuje vývojovou fázi strany s ohledem na typologii vývoje Kurta R. Luthera.The author in this thesis analyses the evolution of Freedom Party of Austria in the years 20052015. This party is not clearly ideologically defined as there is a dispute in the academic public whether the party is nationally liberal or on the side of the extreme right. The subject of the analysis is the ideological basis of the party and its evolution under Heinz Christian Strache in comparison to Jörg Haider. The thesis clarifies the strong position of the party in the party system and its success in the election of 2013 when the party gained 20 % of votes. The thesis is a qualitative analysis of the party political program, election strategies and the behavior of the party in Austrian and European political system. The problem is analyzed in the context of inter-party evolution and therefore doesn't reflect the external factors of the party system. The thesis in conclusion explores the ideological evolution of the party and defines the factors of its electoral success. On this basis then defines the evolutionary phase in the context of Kurt R. Luther party evolution typology.
