Cílem diplomové práce Typografie jako nástroj avantgardní poetiky je vysledovat v dobových teoretických studiích proměny v přístupu k obrazové složce díla, které měly přímý dopad na způsoby typografické přípravy. Teoretickým východiskem práce jsou primárně studie předního českého typografa Karla Teigeho. Poznatky získané z rešerší jsou následně využity při typografické analýze, pro niž byla jako materiál zvolena moderní revue Disk, ReD a Pásmo. V praktické části se práce zaměřuje na to, jakými prostředky a postupy se typografie spolupodílí na vytváření významu díla.The aim of this master thesis entitled Typography as a Tool of Avant-Garde Poetics is to examine theoretical studies conducted at the time and observe changes in the approach towards the visual part of written works; changes that directly influenced the typographical preparation of texts. The theoretical basis for this paper is constituted primarily by the studies of a leading Czech typographer Karel Teige. Findings derived from the text search are subsequently used for a typographical analysis carried out on chosen material: modern magazines Disk, ReD and Pásmo. The practical part of this thesis focuses on the means and methods of typography that help to co-create the meaning of textual works.
