Hlavným cieľom tejto práce je zmapovať kvalitu života pacientov, ktorí trpia chronickou bolesťou chrbtice. Teoretická časť sa sústreďuje na popis patofyziológie bolesti, špecifik bolesti chrbtice a podstatná časť je venovaná i psychologickým spôsobom liečenia bolesti. V ďalšej časti práce je popísaný koncept kvality života v psychologickej perspektíve. Teoretická časť práce tak vytvára podklad pre následne zrealizovaný výskum. Výskumný súbor tvorilo celkom 55 pacientov trpiacich chronickou bolesťou chrbtice vo veku 30 až 60 rokov, ktorí sa momentálne liečia v algeziologickej ambulancii. Získané výsledky naznačujú, že životná spokojnosť pacientov je najviac znížená v dimenzii zdravia a finančnej situácii. Z výsledkov taktiež vyplýva, že viac než polovica pacientov nemá dostatok informácií o psychologických možnostiach liečby chronickej bolesti.The main aim of this work is to analyse the quality of life of patients suffering from chronic back pain. The theoretical part looks at description of the pathological physiology, the specifics of back pain and a fundamental part is devoted to psychological ways of pain treatment. Furthermore, the concept of quality of life is described in psychological perspective. The theoretical part therefore creates a base for a subsequent research. The research sample was composed by 55 patients suffering from chronic back pain aged 30 60 years, who are currently treated at algesiologic ambulance. The gained results show, that the life satisfaction of patients is the lowest at health and financial section. The results also show, that more than half of the patients do not have a sufficient amount of information about psychological ways of pain treatment.
