Bakalářská práce se snaží najít pohled, kterým na skutečnost víry nahlíží Klement Alexandrijský ve svém díle Stromata. Představuje a rozebírá jednotlivé aspekty víry a ukazuje na základní jednotící prvek. Tím je víra chápaná jako rozumná a dobrovolná volba člověka, který tímto způsobem odpovídá na Boží nabídku. Práce se rovněž zamýšlí nad důsledky, které jsou s přijetím víry spojeny, to znamená nad vztahem víry, poznání a lásky a tím, jak se odráží v jednání člověka. Představuje také Klementa Alexandrijského, jeho pojetí pravé filosofie a hledá jeho přínos pro formování křesťanské nauky. Dále je zde provedeno srovnání Klementových myšlenek se závěry uvedenými v Katechismu katolické církve.The Bachelor's thesis is trying to establish the point of view that Clement of Alexandria explores the reality of faith in his book Stromata. It presents and analyses the individual aspects of faith and indicates the fundamental unifying element. This is faith as a reasonable and consensual choice, which is a response of a person to an offer from the God. The thesis reflects consequences which are connected with acceptance of the faith which means the relationships between faith, cognition and love and is thinking about their influence on the human behaviour. This Bachelor's thesis is also focused on the conception of the true philosophy and is searching for the benefit aned merit of forming of the Christian doctrine.
