Diplomová práce se zabývá didaktickou interpretací současných literárních děl pro děti a mládež s tematikou smrti. Cílem práce bylo seznámení s nahlížením na smrt v lidském životě a se smrtí jako literárním fenoménem od literatury nejstarší po současnou, dále didaktická interpretace vybraných literárních děl pro děti a mládež a postihnutí tematiky smrti v jednotlivých dílech a vytvoření čítanky, která za pomoci vhodně zvolených ukázek textů a vytvořených otázek a úkolů směřuje k rozvoji čtenáře nejen z hlediska chápání smrti.The master thesis focuses on didactic interpretation of contemporary literary works for children and young adults with the theme of death. The aim of the thesis was to become familiar with the way of looking at death in human lives and with death as a literary phenomenon in literature from ancient times until now. Also didactic interpretation of selected literary works for children and young adults is introduced with the aim of capturing the theme of death in the individual works, as well as a reading-book which will, thanks to appropriately selected samples of texts and created questions and tasks, lead to personal development of the reader not only with respect to understanding death as such.
