Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice kauzality z pohledu Davida Huma a Immanuela Kanta. Hlavním cílem práce je popis nejdůležitějších myšlenkových východisek u jednotlivých filosofů, charakteristika jejich pojetí kauzality a vzájemná komparace těchto přístupů.Analýza jednotlivých stanovisek o vztahu příčiny a účinku je založena především na dílech Zkoumání o lidském rozumu a Pojednání o lidské přirozenosti Davida Huma a Kritika čistého rozumu a Prolegomena ke každé příští metafyzice,jež se bude moci stát vědou Immanuela Kanta.This bachelor thesis addresses the problem of causation in philosophy of David Hume and Immanuel Kant. The main aim of this thesis is the depiction of the most important intellectual basis of each philosopher, description of their conception of causation and eventually a mutual comparison of their approaches. The analysis of both views on the relation of cause and effect is based on An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding and A Treatise of Human Nature by David Hume and Critique of Pure Reason and Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics That Will Be Able to Present Itself as a Science by Immanuel Kant.
