Tato diplomová práce se zabývá motivačními faktory pro studium nizozemského jazyka v České republice. Jejím cílem bylo zmapovat hlavní důvody českých studentů pro výběr studia nizozemského jazyka. Jednotlivé kapitoly se věnují motivaci pro studium cizích jazyků, dále komunikačnímu potenciálu jazyka, statusu nizozemského jazyka a popisují také nederlandistiku v České republice. Důležitou součástí práce je praktický výzkum, který se zaměřuje na skutečné motivační faktory studentů a absolventů nizozemského jazyka.This thesis focuses on the exploration of the motivation factors for the study of Dutch in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the paper describes the motivation for the study of foreign languages, the communication potential of languages, the status of Dutch and netherlandistics in the Czech Republic. The practical part introduces a research focusing on the real motivation of students and graduates for the choice of the Dutch language and their expectations of the studies.
