Bakalářská práce se zabývá hlavními ekologickými procesy chicagské školy, respektive McKenzieho typologií ekologických procesů. Tato typologie je ilustrována na historické proměně města Olomouce v letech 1850-1945. Proměna se bude týkat především prostorové struktury města. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části je pozornost věnována teoretickým pojmům, které jsou v práci využívány. Druhá část se zabývá teoretickým zakotvením tématu práce, které bylo nalezeno v humánní ekologii chicagské školy. V poslední části dochází k samotné ilustraci ekologických procesů koncentrace, centralizace, segregace, invaze a sukcese na historické proměně města.The bachelor thesis deals with main ecological processes of Chicago school, more precisely with McKenzie´s typology of ecological processes. The typology is illustrated in the historical transformation of Olomouc during the years from 1850 to 1945 and the change mainly concerns spacial structure of the city. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first one includes theoretical terms, which are plentifully used. The second one deals with theoretical anchorage of the thesis which was found in human ecology of Chicago school. In the last one are illustrated ecological processes - concentration, centralization, segregation, invasion and succession in the historical transformation of the city.
