Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá významem živlů v narativní struktuře filmu Písečná žena od Hiroši Tešigahary. Předmětem práce je nahlédnout živly z hlediska historické perspektivy a seznámit se s možnými přístupy s jejich aplikací výsledných poznatků určit do jaké míry se přítomnost živlů ve filmu podílí na výsledné podobě narativního schématu. následně s užítím narativního sché naratologické přenést na zkoumaný film. V práci je také sledován vliv přítomnosti živlů na psychologii postav.BA Thesis deals with the presence and meaning of the elements in the narrative structure of the Hiroshi Teshigahara´s film Suna No Onna (Sand Woman). The subject of the study is to reflect the elements from the historical and philosophical viewpoint and to employ various approaches of their applications in the narrative concept of the analyzed film. Evaluation of how the presence of the elements in the film participates in the resultant image of the is also part of the elaboration of the theme. It is why exploration of the narrative in accordance with the depth psychology is also used in this work, namely from the viewpoint of the elementary transformation of the characters.
