V diplomové práci je představena novela "Iši no raireki (Původ kamení)" od soudobého japonského spisovatele Hikarua Okuizumiho. Obsahem práce jsou biografické informace o autorovi, popis hlavních témat jeho tvorby i jeho literárních postupů, český překlad úvodní části první kapitoly novely "Iši no raireki" a interpretace této novely. Třetí kapitolu tvoří překladatelský komentář k přeložené části novely. Přístup k překladu a postup při řešení vybraných překladatelských otázek je demonstrován na příkladech a pokrývá lexikální, syntaktickou i stylistickou rovinu.This Master's thesis introduces the novel "Ishi no raireki (The Stones Cry Out)" by contemporary Japanese writer Hikaru Okuizumi. The thesis consists of the biographical information on the author, the description of the main themes of his works, as well as his literary techniques, Czech translation of the introductory part of the first chapter of the novel "Ishi no raireki" and the interpretation and analysis of this piece of writing. The third chapter of the thesis is the translatological analysis of the translated part of the novel into Czech. The approach to the translation and the method of solving some selected translatological problems is demonstrated on many examples and the analysis includes lexical, syntactic and stylistic aspects.
