Obsahem předkládané práce je překlad ekonomického textu a jeho analýza. Hlavním cílem je vytvoření funkčního překladu výchozího textu a především volba adekvátních ekvivalentů anglických ekonomických termínů. Práce se skládá ze tří hlavních částí: samotného překladu, teoretické části a překladatelského komentáře. Součástí teoretické části je klasifikace funkčních stylů, stylistické zařazení výchozího textu a teoretické vymezení problematiky překladu odborných textů. Překladatelský komentář se zaměřuje především na rovinu lexikální, konkrétně na způsob překladu terminologie, která se ve výchozím textu objevuje. V komentáři je také zahrnuta rovina morfologicko-syntaktická a textová, které se zaměřují především na systémové rozdíly mezi angličtinou a češtinou a na změny provedené při překladu. Všechny jevy jsou demonstrovány na příkladech. Na konci práce se nachází glosář vybraných termínů z výchozího textu.The subject of the thesis is a translation of the economic text and its analysis. The main objective is to create a functional translation of the economic text and make a choice of appropriate equivalents of English economic terms. The thesis consists of three main parts: the translation itself, the theoretical part and the translation analysis. The theoretical part consists of classification of functional styles, stylistics classification of the source text and theoretical definition of scientific texts and their translation. The analysis focuses primarily on a lexical level, specifically on the method of translation of the terminology that appears in the source text. The morpho-syntactic level and the text level are also included in the analysis and they are focused primarily on the system differences between English and Czech, and on the changes made during the translation process. All discussed issues are demonstrated by examples. At the end there is a glossary of selected terms from the source text.
