Tato práce se zabývá porovnáním komplikovaného vztahu dvou chovanců, Törlesse a Basiniho, v románu Roberta Musila "Zmatky chovance Törlesse" a v jeho filmové adaptaci "Mladý Törless" od Volkera Schlöndorffa. Analýze tohoto centrálního vztahu předchází tematické oddíly, které se týkají jak obecné charakteristiky obou uměleckých děl a hlavních postav, tak otázky prostoru, času, narace a různých interpretací. Tyto kapitoly mají čtenáři nastínit danou problematiku a usnadnit mu orientaci v hlavní části práce.This thesis deals with comparison of a complicated relationship between two students, Törless and Basini, in the novel "Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törless" by Robert Musil and in the movie "Der junge Törless" by Volker Schlöndorff. Before we analyse the main relationship there are thematic parts, which deal as well with general characteristic of both pieces of art as with both main characters, then there are parts about space, time, narration and different interpretations. These chapters should as well outline this problematic to the reader as simplify the orientation in the main part of thesis.
