Tato bakalářská práce je překladatelskou analýzou knihy Henryho Millera The Time of the Assasins: A Study of Rimbaud, přičemž se detailně zaměřuje na intertextualitu díla. Vše je doloženo příklady z výchozího i cílového textu. Cílovým textem je vlastní překlad, jehož část se nachází na CD příloze. Práce se podrobně zaobírá problémy, které s sebou převod intertextuality nese; stanovuje, že je důležité ji zachovat, protože je klíčovým významotvorným faktorem a také tvoří nosnou část Millerova autorského stylu.This bachelor thesis is a translation analysis of Henry Miller's The Time of the Assassins: A Study of Rimbaud and it studies intertextuality of the book in detail. The whole analysis is illustrated by examples from both the source and the target text. The target text is translation of the source text and one part of it is put on the attached CD. The thesis is minutely concerned with the problems related to transfer of intertextuality; it states that the intertext must be preserved because it is a crucial meaning-bearing factor and it represents an important part of Miller's style of writing.
