Disturbance byly prováděny v pěti vegetačních typech, kde dominovaly smilka tuhá, třtina chloupkatá, vřes obecný, brusnice borůvka a papratka horská. Nejodolnějšími druhy k sešlapu byly metlička křivolaká, smilka tuhá, svízel hercynský a rdesno hadí kořen.Aim of this thesis is to evaluate succession of vegetation after the termination of the simulated human trampling, mowing and a sward removal in the Western Giant Mountains. This data was compared with changes during performing of these disturbances. Based on the results, I evaluated the resistence and resilience of a vegetation. Disturbances were performed in the five types of plant communities where dominanted Nardus stricta, Calamagrostis villosa, Caluna vulgaris, Vaccinium myrtillus and Athyrium distentifolium. Trampling and mowing were performed between 2005-2008. The succession of vegetation was monitored for five years after the termination of the impacts. Sward removal was performed in 2005 and succession of vegetation was monitored eight years. Communities where dominanted Nardus stricta and Calamagrostis villosa were most resistant to trampling. There were small changes in mowing plots too. Mowing had negative influence to Calamnagrostis villosa. There was only small change after cessation of this disturbances. After the sward removal, there was complete regeneration of this communities. Comunities where dominanted shrubs were the least resistan to trampling and mowing. There was slow regeneration of Calluna vulgaris. On the other hand, there was increased cover of other species, mainly Avenella flexuosa. After the termination of trampling and mowing, there was regeneration of Vaccinium myrtillus. In these communities, succesion after sward removal was slow and grasses were dominant. Community where dominated Athyrium distentifolium was medium resitant to trampling, and resistant to mowing. There were only small changes after cessation of this disturbances. After the sward removal, there was no regeneration of Athyrium distentifolium. The most resistant species to trampling were Avenella flexuosa, Nardus stricta, Galium saxatille and Bistorta major.
