Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat politiku lidských práv České republiky vůči Bělorusku. Práce se snaží zjistit, jakým způsobem se Česká republika staví k porušování lidských práv v této postsovětské republice, která je označována jako poslední diktatura v Evropě. Jako metodologický postup byla zvolena deskriptivní případová studie, která kombinuje deskripci a analýzu. Text je členěn na tři hlavní kapitoly. První kapitola se zabývá lidskými právy jako součástí zahraniční politiky státu a odpovídá na otázku, proč je v současnosti lidskoprávní politika předmětem kritiky. Další kapitola je nejdůležitější částí práce, protože sleduje a analyzuje konkrétní demokratizační a lidskoprávní aktivity české strany vůči Bělorusku. Poslední část se zaměřuje na českou aktivitu vůči Bělorusku v rámci Evropské unie. Cílem je zjistit, zda se Česká republika dostatečně angažuje na evropské scéně především v rámci Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky EU a projektu Východní partnerství. Vyhodnocením dat, prohlášení a akcí českých představitelů lze dojít k závěru, že rozsah a povaha lidskoprávní a demokratizační politiky vůči Bělorusku v zásadě odpovídá reálným možnostem České republiky. Česká republika věnuje běloruské problematice velkou pozornost. Bělorusko je jednou z prioritních zemí, kterým poskytuje transformační asistenci. V projektu Východní partnerství by se však Česká republika mohla více angažovat.The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to characterize Czech Republic's human rights policy towards Belarus. The thesis attempts to find out what is the Czech Republic's attitude to human rights violations in this post-Soviet republic, which is labelled as Europe's last dictatorship. Descriptive case study has been chosen as a methodological approach, which combines description and analysis. The text is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter deals with human rights as part of the foreign policy of the country and answers the question, why human rights policy is currently subject of criticism. Next chapter is the most important part of the thesis, because it tracks and evaluates human rights and democratization activities of the Czech side towards Belarus. The last part focuses on the Czech activity towards Belarus in the European Union. The objective is to determine whether the Czech Republic is sufficiently involved on the European scene especially in the Common foreign and security policy EU and Eastern Partnership project. By evaluating data, statements and actions of the Czech representatives can be concluded that the extent and nature of human rights and democratization policy towards Belarus essentially corresponds to the real possibilities of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic pays much attention to the issue of Belarus. It is one of the priority countries to which the transition assistance is provided. In the Eastern Partnership project, however, the Czech Republic could be more active.
