Diplomová práce se zabývá strukturou pracovních činností staničních a vrchních sester ve Fakultní nemocnici Ostrava. Cílem práce bylo zjistit strukturu vykonávaných činností staničních a vrchních sester. Ke sběru dat bylo využito datazníkové šetření a autosnímkování. Bylo zjištěno, že vrchní i staniční sestry nejvíce času věnují manažerským činnostem. Doporučení pro staniční a vrchní sestry bylo, aby rozšířily svoje vědomosti a znalosti v oblasti delegování, které vzešlo z výzkumu jako nejvíce problémové.Thesis deals with the structure of working activities of the department, and head nurses in University Hospital Ostrava. The aim of the study was to determine the structure of the activities carried out of the department and head nurses. The data collection was used questionnaire survey and auto screening. It was found that the department and head nurses spend the most time managerial activities. Recommendations for the department and head nurses were to expand their knowledge and skills in delegation, which emerged from the research as the most problematic.
