V magisterské diplomové práci bude představena teorie o vlivu nastavení volebního systému na míru korupce v dané zemi. Cílem práce je ověřit formulované hypotézy o možném vztahu nastavení volebního systému a politické korupce ve státech střední a východní Evropy. Součástí empirické analýzy je, prvně, kritické zhodnocení teoretického přístupu a, za druhé, ověření možného vztahu korupce s blízkostí voliče k poslanci, se stranickou fragmentací v parlamentu, proporcionalitou volebního systému a mírou povolební obnovy legislativ v jednotlivých zemích v letech mezi 1998 a 2013. S využitím pokročilých statistických metod bude zodpovězeno, zda existují podmínky plynoucí z odlišného nastavení volebního systému, které mohou prospívat politické korupci?In the Master´s thesis a theory of an electoral system setting as an influence on political corruption is introduced. The aim of the diploma thesis is to verify whether the electoral system really serves as an institutional framework for corrupt behavior. The possible relation among political corruption and four attributes of the electoral system - the distance between an electorate and the members of parliament, parliamentary party fragmentation, proportionality of the electoral system and electoral turnover of the legislative bodies, will be examined. It will be answered via advanced statistical methods whether there are any conditions consequent to the different electoral systems, which are favorable for corruption in eight countries of the Central and Eastern Europe during the period 1998 to 2013?
