Tato práce předkládá pojednání o zvonech, jak napovídá sám název. Obsahově se práce dělí na část teoretickou a praktickou, s bližším zaměřením na zvony v katedrále sv. Václava v Olomouci, která představuje srdce olomoucké arcidiecéze. Tématiku zvonů jsem pro svou bakalářskou práci zvolil vzhledem ke své profesi kostelníka (bonifanta) v katedrále sv. Václava, k níž je funkce zvoníka historicky přičleněna. Dalším důvodem pro volbu tohoto tématu je mé křesťanské přesvědčení a také záliba zkoumat.This thesis introduces the genesis of bells in the history. The information presented is illustrated on the bell choir hold in the St. Wenceslas Cathedral in Olomouc, which is the heart of Olomouc's archdiocese. Former purpose of bells was calling the monks, bells later served as signal announcing the funeral, warning or disaster. Nowadays there are bells used also for cherishing events as weddings etc. The composition of this work is following: historical and technical description of bells, its creation with several pictures added. The last chapter speaks about the history and present of the bells composition in the St. Wenceslas Cathedral in Olomouc.
