Práce se zabývá problematikou určitých osobnostních kvalit psychoterapeutů, jež jsou relevantní pro úspěšnou aplikaci psychoterapeutických teorií a intervencí v klinické praxi. Tyto tzv. metadovednosti jsou ústředním prvkem teoretických východisek a psychoterapeutické praxe procesorientované psychologie. Z principů a terminologie tohoto přístupu proto vycházíme při zkoumání úlohy metadovedností v psychoterapeutické situaci. Cílem analýzy a diskuze s ortodoxně psychoanalytickým pojímáním psychoterapeutické situace je pregnantní vymezení přístupu zastávaného autorem této práce. Dalším cílem práce je zdůvodnit, proč je kvalita technických intervencí, interpretací a možnost rozpoznání existence a povahy (proti)přenosových jevů podmíněna přítomností metadovedností. Vzhledem ke klíčové pozici, jíž zaujímá mezi metadovednostmi, je věnován největší prostor "pozornosti". Dalším cílem práce je odpovědět na otázku po možnostech systematického tréninku metadovedností.The work deals with certain personal qualities of psychotherapists that are relevant to the successful application of psychotherapeutic theories and interventions in clinical practice. These metaskills are the central element of theoretical bases and psychotherapeutic practice process oriented psychology. Therefore, when examining the role of metaskills we use the principles and terminology of process oriented psychology. The aim of the analysis and discussion with the orthodox psychoanalytic conceptualization of the psychotherapy situation is an explicit definition of the approach advocated by the author of this work. Another objective of this work is to justify why the quality of technical interventions, interpretations, and the ability to identify the existence and character of (counter)transference phenomena is conditioned by the presence of metaskills. Given the key position that it occupies among the metaskills most space is devoted to ,,awareness". Another objective of this work is to answer the question of systematic metaskills training.
