Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem dopravy na regionální rozvoj. V první části jsou zhodnoceny relevantní teoretické koncepty vztahu dopravy a rozvoje. Následně jsou tyto koncepty konfrontovány s reálnou situací v případové studii Pardubického kraje. Práce hodnotí efekty investic do dopravní infrastruktury a popisuje silné a slabé stránky regionu s ohledem na budoucí vývoj.This thesis deals with the effects of transport on regional development. In the first part are evaluated relevant theoretical concepts about relationship between transport and development. These concepts are confronted with the real situation in the case study of the Pardubice region. This thesis evaluates the effects of investment in transport infrastructure and describes the strengths and weaknesses of the region in the context of further development.
