Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dějinami obce Žerotín v letech 1914-1948, kdy jejím předmětem zájmu je především vývoj vesnice v daném časovém rozsahu v rámci dějin 20. století. Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem obecní samosprávy, školstvím ve vsi, kriminalitou, obecním majetkem, spolkovou činností, podniky a modernizací vsi v podobě zavádění kanalizace, elektrifikace, regulace místních toků a výstavby okresní silnice na území vesnice. Všechny jmenované okruhy jsou uváděny v diplomové práci v rámci kontextu časového rozsahu 1914-1948, s tím rozdílem, že u školství, žerotínských spolků a místních firem či podniků je jejich historický vývoj částečně sledován i mimo vytýčené období ve snaze zachytit a popsat jejich vznik, činnost a zánik. Většina informací zejména pochází z archivních pramenů, které jsou uloženy v olomouckých archivech. Součástí této práce jsou také přehledy v podobě jednotlivých tabulek a textových příloh. Současně se v ní nachází obrazová příloha fotografií a dobových reklam.The concern of this dissertation is the history of the village of Žerotín during the years 1914-1948. The aim of this theses is to foremost focus on the development of the village at the given period of time within the frame of the history of the 20th century. The dissertation focuses on the development of the village's self-government, the school education system in the village, the criminality, the municipal property, the activity of the local societies, on the local firms as well as on the modernization of the village in the form of building the sewerage system, electrification, and regulation of the local currents and the construction of the district roadway in the region of the village. All the topics mentioned are presented in the dissertation with adequate context within the years 1914-1948. Additionally, concerning the topic of education, local firms and societies, their historical development is partly followed outside of the referential time frame to better capture their forming, activity and decline. The majority of the information used derives from the archive sources that are deposited in the Olomouc's archives. A part of this theses is also the overview with individual charts and text attachments. Enclosed is a number of picture attachments of photography and the advertisement originating in the given time period.
